| WBO hits the season off with a win! | 20-09-2006 |
| Woolly Bully Off blazed into the new season last night, beating ABN Amro 6-1. The first 20 minutes were tense and goalless, tight defences on both sides easily quashing the attackers struggling to find their touch after the summer break. Buoyed by a recruitment campaign in the jauntier corners of the Luxembourg scene, and not all of them in the ISL, WBO found their rhythm with debutants Stephanie Hill, Katherine Ryan and Jacqueline Thompson displaying assured stickwork rarely before seen in the Woollies. Jo Garrahy finally broke the deadlock with a fine solo foray into the box before setting up another for Wayne Codd. Jaime Roth and Mark Fitzgerald immediately piled in with two more before the prolific Garrahy made it five just before the break. read more>>> |

| WBO Vs. Franklin Templeton | 09-11-2005 |
| Woolly Bully Off and Franklin Templeton squared up against each other for round three of the first group phase of the CL. While WBO were looking to add to their winning streak of one match, FT were aiming to collect their first points of the season.
Soon after the start, FT proved to be the fitter of the two teams. Add to this their impressive fluent passing and it was easy to see who was the better team. 10 minutes into the first half, FT went one up through a defensive mix up by the WBO back row. Donal O'Cearuill shooting through a crowd of players. FT weren’t able to capitalize on their supremacy though and the half ended with a 1-0 scoreline.

FT, then the new kids on the block, lost their first match 4-0 last year, however, it was only to be the first skirmish in what would prove to be magnificent progress of the FT team, leading to an 8-4 (!) victory for FT in the last match of the previous season. | Bankers Vs. WGAF? 1-7, Big One Vs. Clearstream 7-3 | 27-09-2005 |
| Newcomers WGAF? started their corporate league career in style. Although they faced a somewhat under-strength Bankers team, WGAF? showed they could play some fluid hockey as they shipped the ball around well, using both wings of the pitch to full advantage. The Bankers held the waves of attack off well until the deadlock was finally broken by a well worked move, which started at the back and worked its way round the Bankers defence, finally finding the back of the net. After a second goal the Bankers came to life with a quick break, which was well struck from the top of the D and put bottom left of the goal. Just before the half time break, WGAF? managed to extend their lead to leave the score at 1 – 3. read more>>> |
